The storm continues to rage for another day after the group’s arrival; however when they awaken on the third day they find the wind has calmed and a soft snowfall sprinkles the ice covered land. The dark stranger that entered the tavern on the first day decided to stay, and silently with no word to anyone tends to sit on his own in the corner. There is a putrid stench to his thick furs, as if they have not been cleaned in ages, so it is best not to get too close.
The inn has been rather quiet otherwise; the keep must have told some of the townsfolk about the quarrel with Elli; forno one has anything useful to say to the group it seems, and for themost part they tend to act as if you are not even there.
Kansu yawns, "So what exactly are we waiting for? And why does Lilith want to destroy the universe?"
Gorland leans against his chair, staring intently downward at his drink. "She doesn't. And we were waiting for the storm to clear. We should depart soon, however, and track her...Soren shows no signs of returning soon."
<+Kansu> "You were a bit cryptic before, is why I assumed. You should really be more clear."
Mina sits with the others flipping through a random book "who wrote this rubbish...?" Mina says to her self not really paying attention.
<+Gorland> "I made it as clear as I could. We track her to the tower. And we stop her from destroying it. Just because she's going to, doesn't mean she wants to."
Kansu shrugs.
The innkeeper hums lightly as he goes about his work cleaning the counter. He looks up and winks in Mina's direction now and then.
Goroh sits off in a corner, spending a decent amount of time meditating.
Mina annoyed by the innkeeper makes no eye contact, she sighs slightly and then puts the book down "...You know there’s something about the place that just doesn't sit well with me..."
<+Gorland> "I agree."
The cloaked stranger shifts in his corner seat; normally it is not a good idea to drink ale so early in the morning, but he doesn’t seem to mind and motions for the innkeeper to bring him another.
Mina leans forward slightly speaking softly "That guy over there, has he done anything suspicious yet?"
<+Gorland> "Other than Drink Ale in the morning, and just be generally mysterious? Not really. But that is probably worthy of suspicion."
Mina takes a sip from her tea "I guess everything that’s happened has made me paranoid or something..."
<+Kansu> "He's not bothering me, I won't bother him."
Gorland glances back at the man again, as if trying to gauge him.
Gorland looks at Mina, then glances back at the man again, and ponders. "Mina. Perhaps you should go ask the man where he acquired his furs, as it might be good to get you warmer clothing."
Mina looks puzzled "Warmer clothing? My clothing is as warm as the others."
Zidek enters the inn looking quite chilled; he kicks the snow off his boots and then approaches the group; ‘Good morning friends! Did you sleep well?’
<+Mina> "Well enough I guess." *Mina takes another sip of her tea and goes back to her book*
Zidek grins, "Splendid. I have been spending my morning shopping - the early shopper always catches the best deals. Anyhow, have any of you seen Lede around?"
<+Goroh> "I havent."
Zidek seems to think for a moment; "Hmm, I shall check upstairs for her, then." he nods to the group, and then heads for the stairs.
Mina shakes her head still not looking up from the book "Full of energy isn't he?" *mina yawns slightly*
