Personality:

Much like his job, Soren is dedicated to protection of whomever his charge is, whether that is the group he travels with, his crew, or a good friend. He has no trouble with disguising his motives, however, concerned with doing what needs to be done. Planning ahead is usually not a problem for him, as he acts much like a tactician, making the most out of any situation on or off the field of battle.

Soren very rarely kills, reasoning that a live target is more useful; there have only been two exceptions, and one of them was by accident. Bring up Endain, however, and you cannot expect a good reaction, to say the least. Soren drops any pretense when dealing with him, often acting rashly and not thinking ahead.

More recently, however, Soren has been slipping somewhat from his normal cool-headed role. Not quite as patient when dealing with people, he has taken a much more neutral stance towards his actions, justifying to himself that sometimes the results are worth whatever action is necessary; don't plan the plan if you can't follow through.

Appearance:

Soren tends to be an imposing figure at first, armored in mithril scale and with a greatsword that frankly looks too unwieldly to use effectively. Though usually his red hair is kept long and tied back, recently he has been keeping it much shorter, ever since his unintentional haircut. Between his bright red hair and cold green eyes, he tends to be fairly memorable on sight.
